This is a late post. I was supposed to write this yesterday but I wasn’t feeling too good. So anyway here goes. After a week or so of not being able to go to the gym to work out. I’m finally back and I went ahead and started on JAMES GRAGE REWIRED workout program.

Day 21 |Just Because I’m on a Diet Doesn’t Mean I can’t eat.

Today i want to share with you how I do my cheat meals. Yes MEAL not DAY. I don’t give myself a cheat day, but one cheat meal. One whole meal wherein I can just gorge on whatever the freak I want and enjoy without feeling guilty. (its easier to feel guilty if you give yourself a cheat day)

Some people think that just because Im trying to lose weight and am on a “diet” means I have to completely deprive myself. Well partly is true. You do deprive yourself, deprive yourself of processed food and junk and unhealthy stuff. Just like the quote above says, “Processed food….. extends the waistline as well.” 

So yes, I deprive myself and control myself from eating JUNK FOOD and CANNED FOODS and the likes. Also right now, I know some of you who follow me on IG or are my friends on Facebook/twitter/etc… I am cutting out all my carbs (as much as possible) and eat clean and lean and mean.

Going back to topic. So, because I have to be very strict with what I eat, I always go ALL OUT with my ONCE A WEEK cheat MEAL. And last week’s cheat meal looked a little bit something like this:

I gorged on Sizzling squid, Fish head soup, blue marlin Steak, Stuffed crab and KARE KARE!!!

As you know these are all Filipino dishes and Kare Kare is a TO DIE FOR dish! But it can also kill you since its all basically fat on fat on fat. Its pig feet (and other fatty parts) in thick peanut sauce. Oh dear lord it was so AMAZING! Best CHEAT MEAL EVER! And to top it off I didn’t gorge on unhealthy junk like burgers or pizzas, these are actual HOME COOKED TRADITIONS-ish Filipino food!!

So there I just wanted to share that with you guys. 🙂

Hey everyone! I’m glad to say that I finalyl started on Jamie Eason’s LiveFit 12-week Trainer! I’m so stoked! I actually am in the process of rendering my first video blog on this 12-week program! I’m really so excited! But the reason why i am already writing this even without my Video blog is because I will not have the time later on this evening since I have classes until 8:30pm. When I get home I just want to sleep.

Anyway, here is my workout log:

I really enjoyed my workout today. Though it was fairly easy at some areas and really frikkin hard in others. I have to say, together with my food today I am very very satisfied and I feel amazing! i can’t wait for tomorrow!

Quads Are Dead. Next Are My Arms | 2nd Day At The Gym


The effects of my leg day yesterday can be clearly felt when i woke up this morning. I was unable to walk properly for the entire duration of the day. My quads are sore and painful as if I was being sliced through with every step that I took. My hamstrings weren’t properly retracting and my calves shook and trembled. My butt felt amazing though with just the right amount of soreness. But despite all these soreness and pain I still made it to the gym after my morning subjects from university.

It took me a while to get to the 3rd floor because my legs were really in so much pain. But I believe in “NO PAIN NO GAIN” saying.

I battled it out on the treadmill for 25 minutes. Putting one foot after the other, trying my best to fight fire with fire. after a while The pain subsided but there was still the soreness.

Anyway, it was arm day today and I had the pleasure of working with a different trainer this time. Buddy Cadelina. He was very helpful and I very much enjoyed his company as I pushed for the last rep on the last sets of each exercise. (I really have become so unfit over the course of the months of not working out and not sticking to fitness consistently) – lesson learned. I’m excited to feel the soreness of my arms tomorrow and I’m excited to go to the gym again for my third day. After the third day I will rest to give my muscles time to recover, most specially my legs.

Leg Day at the Gym | Feeling the BURN!


I finally enrolled myself at the gym and had a go. Its been MONTHS since I last stepped foot in one. Its quite funny because the last gym I went to was actually Eclipse 24/7 Fitness Center in Manila. And now I am enrolled in Eclipse Healing and Body Design in Bacolod.

At first I thought (and hoped) that the two were connected, but they’re not. (oh well). But I guess I am attracted by this certain brand name ECLIPSE. (heeheehee)

Anyway, so here is my experience on my first day there.

I availed of their basic package of unlimited use of the gym (equipments and weights). Originally it cost 1400, but since I am a student, I got a discount so all I had to pay was 1200. What does this fee entail me? Unlimited use of the facilities (excluding the studio classes), a free tumbler, a baler, 1 week assistance from a trainer, locker and towel (to be returned after your workout).

Forgive the low quality photos for now, I was not able to bring my camera because i had just come from university and my bag was heavy as it is.

So today I was assisted by Marty Laoang, a model, turned body builder and personal trainer. He made me do LEG DAY today.. on my first day back into the gym after such a long time…. LEG DAY (my legs are dead right now).

I know my workout doesn’t look a lot right now but I swear my legs are dying right now. I felt the burn as soon as I started on those exercises. I have to admit that I am RIDICULOUSLY out of shape but slow and steady wins the race.

So I am really looking forward to making my fitness goals a reality at last.
