Sadhana Vegetarian Food House

Sadhana Vegetarian Food House

So as you all know by now I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian. Being a vegetarian in the Philippines can be a hard thing sometimes when you are dining out. But luckily I was able to find a nice Vegetarian place just within my village that is not only inexpensive but also delicious! They do not serve meat at all, but MOCK MEAT! Which is a nice thing once in a while when one starts craving for a bit of meat texture.

These are what I ordered at their place and I will try to compare it to the actual meat counter part.

So first I ordered a Cordon Bleu

next I ordered a filipino dish called Caldereta

And also what is a Filipino meal without rice? So I ordered some fried rice to go with the food.

Over all I was very happy and very satisfied with my meal and I really recommend this place. Although here is one note. You should ask them not to make the food too salty because it kinda was. So make sure you request that from them unless you want super salty food. 😛 But still to have meat that is not meat is a very nice treat for me. A former meat lover turned Lacto- Ovo vegetarian.

Anyway here is their facebook page. Go Ahead and check them out. And if you live in the Philippines near where I live then its a great place to go and have some healthy eats!

Vegetable Ramen can be shared by 3 or more people at an affordable price!

This was my serving of Ramen, (vegetable) it was okay except they didn’t  use fresh ramen noodles…. it was instant sh*t but its was okay nonetheless

So after church and after that pizza splurge we went out for dinner at this Japanese Restaurant right beside The Vine. I ordered a vegetableRamen while everyone else ordered makis and rice bowls. The Ramen turned out to be big enough to serve at least 3 people!

After dinner we went walking along the Wan Chai street and passed through numerous shops that sell cheap and amazing clothes! I bought some for myself! Here are some photos of it… WARNING: the next photos are Vanity Shots… please… Look at your own risk! ^-^

yes I indulged myself to a giant slice of pizza from Paisano’s Pizzeria! It was good… but a little too big for my tastes. I think 5 of us weight loss bloggers can share one slice! How many of us do you think it will take to finish an entire Pizza?

HongKong Part 01 – Arrival in HongKong | Risotto

Hong Kong Trip Pt. 1

So I went to Hong Kong to take care of some visa matters and its a wonderful thing that I have relatives there so I can visit them too! My Aunt and her family lives in Hong Kong because she is based there due to her job at Cathay Pacific Airways. As far as I know she is a Senior Purser there. It was probably my 4th or 5th time to visit Hong Kong, half of those times I went there along via train from Beijing, China because its fairly cheap (about 500 RMB for the cheapest sleeper ticket) and I love to travel via train because I get to sleep and rest for the entire 24 hours* of the way.

*It takes 24-25 hours VIA train from Beijing to Hong Kong

Anyway upon arriving in Hong Kong at the Hong Hum station, I took a cab going to Laguna City which is the complex where my relatives live. It was an easy taxi ride because most of the taxi drivers in Hong Kong can speak and understand enough English. Plus Laguna City is a place that everyone kinda knows.

So anyway, when I got to their house I was fed with Laing and fresh spinach and then some tea to finish, unfortunately I was unable to take Photos of the food at the moment because I was just exhausted from the trip.

Evening came and my Aunt taught me and my younger cousin, Libby (Who is much taller than me) how to cook RISOTTO.

That looks absolutely delicious! And it actually was!

So on my first Day in HongKong i learned how to cook the most delicious Risotto I have ever tasted in my life!

Who wants the recipe to this?

Introducing MONDAY MUNCHERS!

Every Monday (my timezone which is +8GMT HongKong/Beijing time) I will be posting recipes. like Under 200 Calorie meals/snacks, (mostly from Hungry Girl because Im a huge fan and I love her cook books) sometimes vegetarian dishes or my own culinary (wannabe) creations. This is my way of making it up to you guys and I hope you enjoy our Monday Munchers!

So right now we only have one category for recipes (HERE) But I want to actually try to clear this and order it accordingly. It may take some time but patience is a virtue. 🙂

Anyway I hope you are all as excited as I am. Thinspirational Journey is really an integral part of my life and without it and without you guys I would probably be still a lazy ass fatty who hates herself. ^-^ which is why I am really trying to get this site fun to use and all that jazz.
