92 Days to 100lbs – We Turned Japanese for a Day!!

Minna san GOMENASAIIIIIIIII!!!!!!! (translation: Im sorry everyone). I keep apologising for not being able to post! WAHHHH but anyway Im here to make it up to you for the nth time so…. Prepare yourself for a MAJOR update!!  WARNING: This post will be photo heavy. Good luck!

So it was the mid- autumn festival and yes I ate a sh*tload of mooncakes which are like a gazzilion calories every bite. And yes I ate a lot during the holidays but thankfully I dont eat meat (vegetarian) so I didn’t gain too much weight back. i gained about 1.5lbs. I think that is reasonable for the amount of mooncakes I devoured. Hahahah! Im not too bothered by it at all. I can lose it in a week. So yeah.

Anyway here is what I have been upto the past few days. I invited over our (not blood-related) brother Carlos Dengel over for a day of everything Japanese. So here are some photos.

Here I am cooking some Japanese curry for our lunch and dinner. I had to cook with a lot of chicken because Carlos and my sister Dana are meat eaters.

Since I can’t eat meat I had to fry myself some tofu as my source of protien. Its easy and you can mix it in almost any type of sauce. As for me, I mixed my tofu in with the curry, so instead of the chicken curry I had tofu curry.

So here I was putting in the tofu into the pan when it suddenly catches on fire!! I was so surprised so I hollered to my sister to hurry and photograph the fiery tofu. :P

When I finished cooking Carlos arrived and my sister decided to dress in my mother Aikido Gi and pretened to be Zushi from Hunter x Hunter and presented Carlos with his favourite Nun-chucks complete with the exclamation of “OSU!!!”

So after presenting the nun-chucks to Carlos they bowed to each other. (those two are ridiculous funny)

So right after that little fun moment. I proceeded with the Japanese filled day and taught my two siblings how to cook my style of tamagoyaki (eggrolls?) It was a fairly simple dish. :P

Carlos was really concentrating on getting the rolls right. I know that is not the way you really make tamagoyaki but this way is faster for me and I like it more. :P

After cooking eggrolls we went right ahead and made onigiri (rice balls) . We used bonito flakes and umeboshi (pickled plums) as filling. My sister preffered plain onigiri. The different shaped onigiri are my sister’s. The huge ones are Carlos and the even and “perfect shaped ones are mins but you can barely see it here.
I even made an Avatar Aang onigiri head. LOL!!

So after all the cooking we ate and then watched a couple of anime. Finished Hunter x Hunter G.I. and showed Carlos other anime shows just for kicks. Then we watched some funny youtube videos of Japanese Pranks. And finally we started learning Japanese HIRAGANA together. We all learned the first 3 rows. It was really fun! I didnt get a chance to take photos because we were just pre occupied and I know I dont have a lot of photos of myself during the Japanese Day because well.. I was busy prepping and the likes and my sister forgot to take photos as well. So yeah.

Anyway after all the activites at home it was time to pack up and leave. Carlos had to go home and my sister and I had to go to our father’s house to visit (because it mid-autumn festival).

Well that about wraps up the Japanese Filled-Day with Dana and Carlos. But this update does not end here… nope I still have about 2 more updates I think. I’m thinking on whether I should post the next one on a different post or here as well. But its going to be waaaay Photo heavy so I guess I’ll do the next update on the next post.  Just to give you guys a break from it. I’ll schedule it sometime in a few hours. :P

Hey everyone! How are you? Today was a rather amazing day for me food wise because I managed to control my appetite and it was amazing. I feel so good. My stomach feels great EVERYTHING IS GREAT. A WONDERFUL start of the week. I’m just bursting with so much optimism here. :P
Anyway there are several things that I’m really thankful for. As of today I was promoted to be a moderator at a forum that I am a member of. And that is a big deal for me. All the people at Aethercards has  been nothing but nice and considerate towards me.
AETHERCARDS? what is that you say. Well here is a very random fact about me. I collect playing cards. like these:
Those photos don’t belong to me. I just used them for your reference. But yeah I am a card collector but I have a very baby (small) collection as of now because I had just started a few months ago. But anyway. I’m happy because I am expecting 11 decks of cards to arrive this month! 6 decks of The Tendrils from Encarded, 1 set of the Seasons playing cards and the special 3 deck sampler of City Circle Cards which consists of Revision 1, Brimstone, and Americana decks. So I’m really happy. Plus I have another set of Seasons that are going to be from the Philippines and will be shipping over to a great friend of mine.
So yeah I know this all sounds like geek talk or whatever to most of you. But I’m just really really happy about this!
And I have to thank everyone at Aethercards because it would not have been possible if I was not a part of their beautiful community.
So yeah since we are in the mood for cards what not here are some thinspo and HOT female cardists and magicians.

I know I know it was a very very lazy post of my food intake. I just didn’t feel like really figuring out how much I had today, but blah whatever.

Anyway, I feel so good inside because I just found out that I have influenced even some of my old friends from before into starting their own weight loss journey. I received a mail from an old friend of mine saying that I really inspired her. When I read it butterflies were fluttering about in my stomach. Its times like these when I get really really super duper MEGA motivated to proceed in my weight loss regime.  Its so inspiring when someone is inspired by your efforts. :)

Which brings me to start a blogroll. Now that I am faithfully following a couple of weight loss blogs that I absolutely adore!

Heya Everyone! Sorry I was not able to post yesterday. I was very busy with researching stuff online. You see I will be going back to college on the 26th of September. I’m studying Interior Design and so I am making some preparations for that. My schedule these coming weeks will be pretty jam packed since I also a have a new househelp/maid/ kasambahay and I have to get everything in order. Its really hard to find good help these days I am just fortunate enough to have found someone very very capable and understands the way I eat! Plus she is very competent. I don’t want this maid to go away. I want her to stay as long as possible with me. So I am going to start getting her papers fixed, like NBI clearance, B.C.s, Postals, SSS, Philhealth/H.E.L.P. Card and/or the likes. Because if your helper/maid knows that she is well taken care off she will take care of you and will do her best. Well I hope its like that.  And I’m not only fixing her documents, I will include mine as well.

But enough of that. This is a weight loss / Thinspo wordpress blog and I have to post contents about this topic.

So as you can see I have reduced my food intake a bit because believe it or not I gained a pound because I started eating rice again. :( But it does not matter. Its just a minor set back. Here is a good thing.

I have been losing weight with little to nothing physical activity. Heck I lost 20lbs in just 2 mos of limiting my food intake. So it seems like my body has hit a platea. So the plan is, once I fix everything I need and  get the papers processed and everything like that, I will start planning my daily work out regime. And since I will be having a normal-ish schedule soon I can easily alot a FIXED time slot for work outs.

I think that is a BRILLIANT Idea!

Well I will share my workout plans with you guys as soon as I draft it. In the meantime…

HELLO EVERYONE! I am back! Finally! I’m back to posting your daily dose of Thinspirational posts. As you can see I added a new section to this post. the “HOKKAIDO PILLS” section. Its basically some sort of Slimming pills from Japan that supresses apetite but in turn make you REALLY thirsty so you have to keep well hydrated or else you will go into dehydration of course. So yeah As you can see I ate quite a lot today its just because I went into a plateau meaning I can’t lose more weight because my body adapted to the current eating habits that its doing. So I have to go back and eat a little more but not so much that I gain the weight. Just enough to maintain the current weight that I am in while giving my body a new “thing” to “get used to” and maybe after a week of eating a bit more I can go back to veggies and fruits and the healthy stuff. So that is basically it for today. I have a lot of other things to attend to at the moment.
