ECDE Update


Hey guys,

Some people has been asking me about my ECDE. Well I apologize for my lack of update on this topic. I’m still on it and I have about a few days left on it. It seems like my body adapts to a diet really well and really fast. I hit plateaus like there is tomorrow. It is rather frustrating at times. I guess we can all prove that crash dieting rarely works and its not healthy and it does not make a person happy.

I’ve lost about 8 lbs while on the ECDE for a month. And to tell you the truth I was not as faithful to the diet as I wanted to be.

But anwyay that is the short update for you all.

15th Day of The ECDE


Hey guys, this is just a quick note, Kris Rhodes is not going to be there. That was my sister’s bad. She thought it was him but it was not. So Sorry about the wrong info. Dane Ram and Cameron Lee is there though. I’m really stoked!

11, 12 &13th Day of Extreme Crash Diet Experiment

I have to admit, over the course of the weekend I ate normally and at the same time increased my daily activities. But I went well over the 500 calories goal I have set for the ECDE. I honestly don’t know how people can do this for more than 1 month at a time. Its really difficult to keep below 500 calories. Specially I love food and my mother loves food and we are all food people. We don’t like JUNK food, but we love to cook REAL food.

My mother cooks Spanish food and I cook Japanese food. More often than not, one serving of these food is more than 300 calories. And both cuisines are high in Carbs. But anyway, I’m still doing my best to finish this ECDE to the end.  So Friday Saturday and Sunday was the Dragon Boat festival so we kinda celebrated a bit. but we did not eat those Zhong Zi things that they have here during the festivities.

Saturday we went to dance class and I was able to dance again and I was so happy. My knees have recovered from my dance mishap a few weeks ago. I still need to train and strengthen it more but I can do dance class. After Class we went to the Japanese grocery. We walked all the way there which was about an hour or more. And it felt great. I love walking.

Sunday, what did I do Sunday (which was yesterday)… I accompanied my sister to an Audition for THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Children’s Theatre Camp) at Joy City. I think she is getting the part of Leizl (the girl who sings “I am 16 Going on 17″ ) I’m proud of her. She takes after me (^0^) lol. After the auditions we ate at Pepper lunch and god knows how much calories were in that delish food. MEH! we tried to burn off some calories by walking around the mall for 2 1/2 hours.

**sigh** so yeah I weighed myself this morning and I’m still 132 lbs. So I did not loose and I did not gain (yet again) but that’s good. At least my body weight is more or less stable.

Monday I go on the Master Cleanse again and I plan on running 3 times a week. So wish me luck. I will post more about it in the next entries. I will end this one for now because I’m afraid I have made this post too long and I don’t want to waste your time in reading these ramblings of mine.

10th Day of the Extreme Crash Diet Experiment


Hey guys I know I was not able to post a video log today of the Extreme Crash Diet Experiment. I slept late last night and woke up late so i didn’t have time to do it. I’m really sorry so here is a text post instead.

So 10th Day of the ECDE. nothing special on the 10th day. I did my work out and I loved it. I really do. It was amazing I love feeling the burn in my muscles. I love feeling every bit of it. Although I hate push ups. That is my biggest weakness. My mother said to build up my pushups I should try planking first, like the one that is done in yoga. So I think I will do that.

Went out to buy some lemons so I can start on the Master Cleanse again and I have to say I am really really excited! I love the Master Cleanse on a very controlled diet. I have to admit i cannot do the master cleanse with no food because it is going to burn my stomach and I need some food to fuel my body for bike riding to the bus station to get to work. I pretty much stay well within my 500 calorie limit. But there are times I do exceed  it but never over 1000 calories so I’m in a stable 132 – 132.4 weight this week. No changes yet which is completely fine with me. Better to be at the same weight than gain weight.

My energy fluctuates every now and then but nothing too serious. Because when I do feel faint I drink some tea/ master cleanse or nibble on a veggie. So I can keep up with my body’s demands at times.So Almost two weeks into the thing. The beginning was difficult and now its getting easier to cope up with.

I’m actually starting to get surprised at the results for now because I was expecting myself to feel faint and dull during this experiment but I actually feel the opposite. I think its because Im also working out at the same time an really portioning my food and spreading it through the day. So I guess its all comes down to ones eating strategy.

But anyway That is it for this day’s update on the ECDE.
