Today I found out my body fat percentage. And just as I expected, I am well above 30%. I’m not really that disappointed because I kind of expected it but this is making me even more determined to work harder and train harder. You can view my current stats in this page:
–> STATS and GOALS <–
All the while I thought I was in the healthy zone, but according to those readings I am still in the red zone in many aspects of my physical make up. To be honest I feel pressured about this reading. I have been trying to avoid looking at my weight on the scale as much as possible because I know that if I see that I am going to freak out, (which I kinda am despite trying to keep my cool). I know it is a process and a journey, Mine is taking longer than planned but I have to say I am much better now than I was before.
With this said, I want to let you all know that I hope to lower my body fat at least 1-2% before the month ends. That means more cardio, more healthy eating (even if it is the holidays), and a hell lot of discipline.
I hope I can do it. I’m just very fortunate that the coaches at the gym are very helpful. With their help and encouragement, plus my group of friends (who are doing the same thing (getting strong and fit) ) behind my back really cheering me on, I feel like I can do anything.
Anyway here are some photos in the gym:
Well There you have it. Actually today I was supposed to do some overhead tricep extensions but while I was on my 15-17th repetition on my first set, I felt a snap on my shoulder and it was painful so my coach said I had overworked my right arm and advised me to rest it.
Next week I will give Circuit Training a go. Mainly because I want and need to loose body fat, so major cardio is needed.
How about you, what sort of cardio do you like? Does it work well for you?
